Computer won't boot up Windows - endless rebooting loop - Page 2

The Recovery Console is done with the XP CD. You should be able to get there.

When I press 'R' to go into Recovery Console, it blue screens into the same error... hmmm...

Is there anyway I can run CHKDSK???

You would need to either get into the Recovery console or Windows to do that.

So what should I do now? I mean, is there a way to recover my data from my hard disk? That's all I really care about right now.

Do you think I can boot Knoppix and copy my files to an external drive or something?

Take it out of that system and put it in this one and access it with a working OS to recover the data. That is about it.
