Computer never shuts down!

Whenever I click turn off, it goes to the "shutting down" screen and stays there for eternity. I have to hold the turning off button on the front of my computer until it turns off! Why is this and how do I fix it?

No one has solution? Just last time I turned it off and it went to a blank black screen and never shut down! Why is this happening?

You may have a corrupted system file, do a CHKDSK.

sounds like ur computer is sick too, u tried contacting Dr. B1gap1 or Dr. Sora for help? They might help lol.

Do not wait 5 sec just shwitch off the component that gives power to the pc. How is it called in English?

Power Supply Unit?

Can cause HardDrive Failure I wouldn't recommend doing that.

might be your paging file clearing at shutdown. you can check/amend:
via registry: How to Clear the Windows Paging File at Shutdown
via group policy editor: John Barnett Computer Journalist: Clear Windows Paging File At Shutdown
