Default computer access from web

Is there anyway i can host a folder on my pc, on the internet without using software?

Well, when you say w/o software I am assuming you mean with just using windows, and I believe that the answer to that question is no. The best way to go about it would be ftp server software or uploading it to an internet site.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that it's the only way.

It might be incredibly insane to do this, and your ISP may block it, but I don't see any reason why you couldn't host a fileshare over the internet. The other party would have to do \\yourIpaddress\share . That *might* work.

EDIT: You would need Win2k/XP which supports port 445 NetBIOS connections. If you have a router, youd have to forward port 445 to your PC.
