Exclamation Cleaning prefetch on laptop plz help

Hello there im not sure of which to delete and which not to delete, Could someone please advise me on which items to get rid off?

there are so many!! if i delete all.( which a particlular site said to do so..)

will my "security" be under threat? and other important programs like acer power ...etc, touch pad...

prefetch are just 'speedup' files. IMO they are all safe to delete but the programs might be slow to load the first couple times.

Ok sweet az.. is there anyway that i can make a bakup of the current files in it? or is that not neccesory

Just delete all the files in prefetch it wond hurt anything. I do this about as often as I clean out all my temp files and all that crap that slows down the unit.
