Thanks everybody, and sorry for my late reply (I wasn't on the forum for a while)

One more thing: would REvo alone be just fine, or would it make any sense at all to use BOTH Revo and the CCleaner? (or is that just overkill)?

thanks,
Lars

I use just Revo and it has done me justice.

I usually just stick with the Moderate setting. I dont go to in depth. There really isnt a need for that much cleaning.

Thanks again.

Sorry, but I have another noob-ish question:

If I run CCleaner, can I jusr let it solve all registry problems it finds, and I am safe as long as I let the program save a abck-up of the registry entries?

That's all I do; and I've done it on all the computers I work on. Just make sure to make a backup like you already said.
