Peter McFlight Newb Techie Join Date: Oct 2004 Posts: 24	Check Disk at Win XP Hi to everyone. I from Lisbon (Portugal)! Nice forum you have here! I would like to make one question, please. IÂ’ve a dual boot (Windows XP sp2 and Win Millennium) and when I do my check disk errors in Win XP it takes a lot of time at the surface test! ItÂ’s normal to take several hours on it? My HD is a Seagate 120GB 7200rpm and I have the Norton Internet Security 2003 installed! Tanks for your help! Sorry some English mistakes!

Yeah...a surface scan takes a lot of time. Esspecially with 120GB. Also with NTFS.
