Default Changing resolution for some software?

I have my resolution set at 1152 x 864, sometimes 1024 x 768, and there are some programs that I need to run at 800 x 600.

Is there a way of having these programs change the screen size to 800 x 600 when they load up? I am using XP Pro but that only lets you run at a smaller size which isn't suitable.

My video card is an ATI using Omega drivers (tried the DNA ones but they won't install, they tell me I don't have a video card present - but that's another story lol)

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

They are mainly educational programs for the kids and typing tutors. I agree, most games have this option but not many programs do

you can do much of that by changing the properties in the shortcut tab to reflect this. dont remember the scheme to do this, but a google search should turn this up for you.
