|  Changing product key? Hi, Just wondering how i can change my product key for windows? I had to format my pc and I didn't have my product key for my windows, so I had to use my brother's disk and key. I can't download windows updates.. etc Now i've got my product key again, so I'm just wondering how I can change it, without having to reinstall windows. Appreciate any help |

| Re: Changing product key? Maybe RockXP can do it? Other than that i would say look thru the Microsoft Search site. Search Results But most of those are related to VLK.

   | Re: Changing product key? Winkeyfinder. It's included on a Hiren's BootCD (v9.3)...just google for that, burn the ISO you d/l, and then pop the disc into the drive. It's under the Recovery menu. Quite a neat little program...you can even generate random passwords/backup and restore your activation file.
