I am upgrading my "quirky" ecsk7s5a mb and gforce 2 mx 400 with a gigabyte ga-7n400el mb and a gigabyte 9600pro vid card, I know I am going to have to do a fresh install of windows but will I have to call them or will I still be able to activate over the internet. I installed windows on this machine almost a year ago and have not done a hardware change in 6 months or so. Is this going to be a big deal with microsoft or are they reasonable to deal with. I am using the same processor and ram and hard drives will be the same. Thanks for any advice

There will be no problem. Windows XP usually lets you reload at least twice on a single number. If you have any problems with it give them a call, explain the situation and they should give you a new number. You shouldn't have to though.
