Cloud122 Newb Techie Join Date: Feb 2006 Posts: 12	cant update sp2 trying to update to sp2 windows xpp half way through the update it says access denied and stops. anyone know whats the probelm and how to solve it?

worrwhorre Junior Techie Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 99	do you have the OS installed on another computer? i had that problem and i found out that i had the OS installed on two computers. i downloaded the sp2 to my desktop, extracted the files, burned it to a cd, and then updated through the cd. __________________ http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../wgpsigtag.jpg

Use Autopatcher. Google it. Installs everything from SP2 up to the current updates.
