can't uninstall a program

I'm trying to uninstall a program but everytime i click uninstall i get a message "setup.exe has stopped working". I went thru Osiris's guide (great guide btw - yes i left you feedback

) but it still isn't working. I tried doing it using ccleaner too, still nothing. I then deleted it by C:\Program files. The folder is now gone but it still shows up as if its in my computer and i get hte error when i click uninstall. I posted screenshots of the error if you need a look. I'm running vista sp1. Thanks

Did you try Revo Uninstaller?

I just tried revo uninstaller. Got the same message "setup.exe has stopped working".

It sounds as if the Windows Installer has become corrupted. Can you install or uninstall any other programs or do they all give this message?

I can uninstall and install everything else its just one specific program. Revo installer told me that the uninstall was completed but i got a windows message saying "setup.exe haS stopped working". The program does not show up now in either add/remove programs or revo uninstaller. Can this be an underlying problem or there was just a bad install or something? (in other words should i be worried)

I wouldn't worry if it appears to be uninstalled and your not getting that error from any other apps.

Cool, I hate when some apps seem almost embeded into the core files.. like Win Messenger, sounds like Crapster was embeded into your OEM.
