Default can't read vista burned disk

I recently installed vista and then right after uninstaller it because it would not pick up my video card and the screen was always black. Befor i went back to xp i burned a backup disc with vista built in burner.

now when i try to read the disc on xp there is nothing on the disc.
I just dragged the stuff i wanted to the disc and it burned it.

did i need to finalize the disc with vista?
Is there some way i can finalize it with xp so i can read the disc?
or something i can do to read the disc with xp?

Until now. there is no capable software of finalising a cd/dvd when hasn't been finalised in burn operation. I don't know at all.

most likely vista's built in burning...yes I think you needed to either close or finalize...live search it...or search on microsoft.com....vista burn or something.

you might be able to put it on another vista machine and finalize it
