cant install sp2. error 1450

OK, i just tried to run the winxp sp2 update on my home edition sp1, and it says it cant back up the reg key, error 1450: insufficient system resources. what the heck does that mean?

nope. It says it cant back up some file registry that has a long name with a lotof symbole, including the $.

not right now. I have to go to work and dont have time to run it again. But i think i know whats wrong. My mobo ram slots are for pc 3200. I have 2 256 mb sticks, but one of the sticks is like 2100 or 1200 or something If i tried it without that stick, do you think it would work? gottta run, and thanx.

its possible but if you have 2 different types of ram, like 3200 and 2100, both sticks will operate at 2100
