WhenI try to install my battlefield 1942 from the cd i get the error, "an installation support file could not be installed, Catastrophic error"
its not the cd because i bought a new one and that got the same error, does anyone know what i can do to fix this?





My Computer is a homebuilt amd64 3200+ with msi k8t neo motherboard, windows xp home.

Catastrophic error? Hahahaha that is a funny message! You might want to check for updated patches on the website of the game.
