Default Can't find Sound Card Driver.

I recently formatted by hard drive and I have to reinstall most drivers. My sound card is 82801G (IHC7) High Definition Audio. The vendor is Intel. No matter how hard I search I can't find drivers for it on intels website or anywhere on the internet.

Could someone tell me where I can download them.
Thanks in advance.

Well we cant quite tell you since you didnt give us what OS you are using. They will be different drivers for different OS's and different mother boards.

Intel High Definition (HD) Audio driver download 5.1 For Intel High Definition audio chips

As you can see it goes by specific mother board models. So we will need to know your exact mobo and OS in use.

Drivers are the same for XP Home and XP Pro.

This should be the driver, though.

Your chip may have died on you. Hard to tell without being in front of it.

What does Device Manager tell you?

Thanks its working now.

I went to Device Manager and it said that a certain PCI device was not working. After updating drivers for it, it turned out to be Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio. I then updated one other driver and it was working.

Thanks for all the help Trotter and Mak213.
