can't defrag my hard drive

I used windows defrag and PC Pitstops disk MD. I've closed my programs while running the 2 different defragers. Everytime I scan my HD on PC Pitstop.com I have a fragmented HD.

Get diskeeper or O&O. They each have a feature that keeps your drive defragged all the time. Literally set it and forget it. Any idle time is spent defragging and they both work very VERY well. I have diskeeper on my desktop and O&O on my laptop.

I checked Diskeeper. It's for 32bit OS only. O&O is 45 bucks.

That program isn't for Vista 64 either. I guess I'm screwed. I turn off all my programs, run a defragger and there's still around 30 gigs of files that can't be moved and are fragmented.

Have you tried booting into SAFE MODE AND TRYING A DEFRAG WHILE IN SAFE ?
Its moved sectors for me in the past but no guarantee.
