try using 1 of the memmory sticks in a different slot and if that doesnt work then try a different slot using 1 stick only in different slots and tell me what happens.

This is done via a Cd or DVD Boot not from your OS. So if you cant even see the BIOS Flash screen or the onscreen display of the Recovery or install setup then you have a much more major problem.
So you would either have to
A.) get another card to test if the slot is dead
B.) Test this card in another machine
Till you do either one of those there is nothing more any of us can do to help you as this is something that only those 2 options are available.

You can't see anything, not even the boot screen? Then your monitor or video card probably died.
If you can see the boot screen, hit F8 after it boots and then pick safe mode. When safe mode loads you can either try a system restore or you can un-install the video driver. If you un-install the video driver you'll need to reload it after you restart Windows regularly
