| Hi I visited the call of duty 4 website to see if i could run it. I downloaded the activision test, and the results were way beyond the recommended spec levels to run cod4. I had already downloaded the demo, so I installed it and started to play. It was ok apart from when the level started. It was really "laggy". It took about 2 minutes from finishing loading to the level starting. I carried on but every 2 or 3 seconds, it would stick for a very short time and carry on. I am sure the frame rate is very low, but i haven;t tested it yet. I am running vista, i have a 7900gtx, and 1gb ram. I have heard other people are running it fine, but others have the same problem as me. David |
