did you disable everything except for antivirus and firewall and reboot?

Yeah basically, I left everything except my firewall/antivirus, and motiveSB (verizon internet link). But some reappeared like "ctfmon".

CFTMON.exe is part of Microsoft Office. So it doesn't matter if it shows up.

It still jitters when i'm watching media files. It skips frequently and something is eating the memory a lot. The CPU usage rises a lot but I don't know whats slowing it down so badly.

Yeah, the lag only happened recently. The lag is still present after all the cleanup I did. Mouse jitters when I move it and programs are takes forever to load or it becomes very choppy.

I dunno if this is relevant to you but if you are using optical mouse and used it over reflective and/or bright surfaces, the mouse curser could also behave jittery sometimes.
