burning cd
I want to burn an executable cd and the problem i,m having is that when the cdrom starts, so the burner reads it the disk loads on the pc and the burn stops at 4%. Any suggestions how to cure ?

please list your system specs including cd-r model and manufacturer, current OS, and the program used to make the exectueable cd.

Make sure you have the latest dirvers, patches, etc. from the drive maker, and cd burning software. If that fails reinstall your cd burning software.
