Mak213, once I write files to a cd-r, I can no longer add things to that cd-r, is this correct?

Hello,

Yes a CD-R is a burn once media. Once the files are written to the disc you can not write to it again. Unless you use Nero and leave it open for a multi session which creates all sorts of havoc on a system.

Better to just write it once and leave it alone.
