Default BSOD File Not Found

hey

i got a new comp about 2 weeks ago and windows has given me the BSOD about 3-4 times now.

i've turned off restart automatically in system restore settings and it still didnt put any file in minidump. so i tried switching the folder path to C:\WINDOWS\Errors\BSOD and when it happened again today, it still didnt put any files in it. anyone know how to fix this?

thx kimmy

the only error showing up in the event log yesterday (which was when it happened last) is a dhcp networking error in system and then this error which i havent seen before in application:

The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was C0000005 from line 44 of d:\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemo bj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.

which doesnt sound like anything considering its coming from drive D:

thx kimmy
