| As I tech in the field I often encounter broken or corrupted IE6. Cause:Unknown. Problem: Can't use Microsoft Windows Update because of corrupted IE6. I've seen scripts run by Microsoft to repair IE. I don't have those scripts. Repairing Windows dose not repair IE. Is there a link to download IE6 manually? And reinstall it? Responses are appreciated. |

| Thanks for the link to the article. As I was scanning the article and looked at their procedures I say to myself: tried this, tried that, and did the other thing. Anyways, there is at least one other procedure I can use. Got a service call with an IE problem coming up so I'll refer back to this article. Thanks, JFK P.S. Installing Service Pack 3 manually did not fix the IE 6 problem on my previous try. |
