| Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" Not sure what is causing this, but when I'm booting up my PC, after the PCI Device listing dialog is displayed, it says
NTLDR is missing, press Alt+CTRL+Del to restart.
I can't seem to get around this. Any idea what this is? |

| Re: Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" NTLDR is missing
It's a very common error usually fixed with a repair with your Windows CD/DVD. |

| Re: Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" Usually it means your Bios is booting to the wrong drive or your main drive has lost it's boot files.. have you installed a new drive or made changes in your Bios recently? check to see if your Bios is booting to the correct drive..

| Re: Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" Have you checked any of the links provided? They should fix the issue easily.
Can also try inserting the XP CD and getting to the recovery console, from there type in these commands from the DOS prompt:
fixboot
fixmbr
Restart and that should fix it as well.

| Re: Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" It is because your MBR, Master Boot Record, is not correct. Using the steps provided it should fix this error.

| Re: Booting up "NTLDR is Missing" If you fix it using the Windows XP recovery console, and it still becomes corrupt, it's probably malware on your system.
