xboxh4ck3r Newb Techie Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 20	boot from external hdd ok my house got struck by lightning so i have 3 computers lying around so i decide to build a computer.... i have a mac os x hard drive and a windows hard drive i was wondering if either one would allow me to have 1 internal hdd and then boot from 1 external hdd... by the way the mac os x is a SATA.

if you want to boot from an external hard drive.

in the bios, intergrated perephrials? i think tha's where it is, there is a first boot, second boot, etc

set it to external or similar.
