Default Blue File names

For some reason some of my file names in my folders are blue. They were all black and now some are black and some are blue. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

So u r using XP with NTFS file system.
The filenames r in blue bcos the option "Compress files to sace disk space" is checked.
Right click on the file, select properties and click on the Advance tab to change this option.

Thanks,

It worked on a lot of them and there are some that it didn't . I didn't do anything to the computer. Why would it compress things by itself?

The files are on the server and nobody else gets the blue icons.
You were right it is Xp

Windows will compress files you haven't accessed for awhile to save some disk space.
