DuniCraig Newb Techie Join Date: Mar 2005 Posts: 4	Black Screen with just cursor I did a system recovery with XP pro because i had lost the sound on my computer so i went thru all the steps and it was going smooth until the end of it. It said it was saving setting or something and it estimated 3 minutes left. I came back in like 10 mins and it had not changed eventually i let it sit for several hours it was the same so I rebooted the computer. now it boots up and get past the XP boot screen then after that it just sits with a black screen and the cursor even in safe mode and doesnt do anything . How do I fix this?

You will have to go through and let the XP Repair install finish.
