  |  BF2142 reinstall breaks Windows BF2142 went buggy on me and I had to reinstall it... however, after taking it off, I can't put it back on. Every time I try to reinstall it, it causes ZoneAlarm to segfault on boot, and the system hangs. I can get back in by running system restore from safemode to remove BF2142.

| Re: BF2142 reinstall breaks Windows Sort of a dumb question, but have you tried deactivating ZA and seeing if you can get it to work? I know when I ran ZA, it would change settings on me if it updated. This caused me all kinds of headaches until I finally "caught it in the act," so to speak. Also, is this in XP or Vista? It sounds more like a Vista issue, but your info doesn't say which.
