Default batch zipping?

Hiyas...

I'm wondering if there is a freeware app that can batch zip a bunch of images...zipping each set of images into their own zip file.

for example

05-07-parta
05-07-partb

05-08-parta
05-08-partb

something that would know to zip the preceding in an individual package? I use extractnow and 7z...not sure if any of those have batch capabilities.

Thanks
