Post AVI to MPEG4 converter

I'm currently using the free AVI to MPEG4 converter Videora. It worked perfectly on my previous computer but it won't work on my new computer, and I don't know if it cause this computer is a 64-bit or if there is just something wrong with the program. It keeps saying there is an encoding error. I re-installed it twice and even set it to the same setting that I have on my other computer and the problem still happens. Even tried different settings, still same thing. So I'm wondering is there any free AVI to MPEG4 converters that you guys can suggest.

Have you tried the company's FAQ to see if it might not be compatible with 64bit? or Google it?

wow. I going to sue my hardware encoder maker then. if they have cpu encoder that's better than something's wrong. just kidding

seriously if you have a 512 or better nvidia video card get powerdirector 7 tmpenc or badaboom. it use gpu to encode instead of the cpu. anything hardware encode better than the cpu
