Default Avg + WoW = display driver crash?

So I play WoW, and ever since my big virtumonde epic, i like to run AVG when I've got some downtime, like in the background when I play wow. It seems like if the two are going on when AVG finishes my computer crashes and it says a display driver had malfunctioned or something...is this normal? or is this one of those, if that happens, don't do that?

also didn't know what forum to post this in, so sorry if this is the wrong one

Have you updated your GFX driver? I really wouldnt run WoW and AVG at the same time. That really puts a strain on your system and that could be why it can not keep the GFX driver loaded.

Have you tried to just play WoW and not run the scan to see if it happens?
