also i cant write a cd. When I boot up with a disk in the icon stays up (in my computer) even when I eject the disk. If I boot w/out a disk and then put one in the default icon stays up and no auto run. And now when I try to write it tells me iI have no cd in. BTW I did just put this rom in but I had a similar problem with the old one... What to do?

Can you try another drive? My guess is that the drive is defective.
