automatic update through proxy server

jsliman Newb Techie Join Date: Jun 2003 Posts: 1	automatic update through proxy server I am using proxy server 2.0 for internet access. I am testing going through a PIX firewall. When accessing through the pix, I get prompted to install windows updates. Does anyone know why I do not get prompted for updates when accessing through the proxy? Is the proxy blocking the automatic update function, and if so what port does automatic update using? Thanks for the help. John
