Question Application Start

Hey!

I was just wondering if anybody knew how to start an application before the desktop? I've seen many disk tools do this so that they can execute operations before any files are in use. Thus preventing the rest of the desktop and Windows services to execute until the program/or the like is closed.

I was just wondering if there is a way to do this with any executable?

Thanks!
TMT.

I dont know about before the desktop but you can make a batch file or script to start the program when you get to the desktop.

try this for starters...This is a script that can be run before the user can log on (pretty much what you want to do)
