Go to the Firefox browser and Select Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks

Select File > Export

Choose the folder to save your bookmarks in (We recommend adding today’s date to the file name so that you can easily identify it in the future).

Thanks, but i the menu your talking about is not there?

But i think i found it, i went to bookmarks then organize book marks, then in that window theres a button that says "import and back up" so i clicked that and saved it and its saved as a JSON file whatever that is, and its a file that is not recognised by windows, does that sound like ive done it correctly?
