| Alright, I am building a new computer... which OS? I was hoping people who are more knowledgeable than myself could recommend which OS to run on my new build.
I already have Windows XP 64bit but I am thinking Vista is a better choice. The problem I am having is that I have no idea which version of Vista to purchase.
Is Ultimate necessary, or should I save 80$ on Premium?
Thank you. |

Premium should give you the features you're probably after. Which Vista Edition is Right for You? - The Vista Editions - OS, Software & Networking by ExtremeTech

Ultimate isn't worth it for the few little things it offers over the others.

As for dual booting XP 32 and Vista 64, why? What do you use it for? And why not dual boot with XP 64? |
