How do you recover your admin password? I boot into safe-mode and I can't get into the admin account.

What is your suggestion firewall / antivirus to have on a pc?

Other than Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft Adaware, what are other essential softwares for "maintenance"?

Yes, you can use a linux boot cd called ophcrack. It will find all the accounts and passwords on your computer. Just google "ophcrack" and you'll find it.
