Default Accidentally ended explorer.exe.....now Windows is useless

I was looking in the processes tab of the windows task manager I accidentally ended explorer.exe (not really important how that came to be) So I thought no problem I'll just restart and when I do the only icons that appear properly are a few quicktime files on my desktop, and when I try to open any application I get a little error message "No locking handle found" now I would appreciate any support (as soon as possible because I got fear and I want to try it out etc)

Thanks in advance

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to get the task manager up. From there click File>New Task. When it comes up just type in explorer.exe and everything should come back up.
