I had the same problem a while ago.. Are u running AVG 8? That was my issue.. I uninstalled AVG 8 and FF quit crashing on me.

Sorry but Norton isnt really that good mate. It could even be Norton that is messing up yoru Firefox.

I used to use Norton...like 10 yrs. ago. Why the **** would someone pay for
that garbage? I got more viruses and had more problems with it than any
software of any type. If you like to reformat , get it. Otherwise get a free one
like AVG Free and use Adaware or Spybot S&D.

Yes and like i already said. It could very well be the root of your issues. This wouldnt be the first time Norton has messed with a another piece of software.
