8x agp card in 4x agp slot? URGENT!!
hey a friend of mine was going to order a new video card and i was going to tell him this card would work

however it says 8x agp and the mother board is 4x agp can i guarantee him it will work or do i have to look at another one for him?

It WILL work...It will slow down to 4x speed...I'm 100% sure and both me and some of my friends used to do this

it will work fine you will not get the full benifets of the card tho
