Default when will the prices tumble again?

Hello, Im wondering if anyone knows when the prices will fall again... just last week there were a few rockin models for under $599. at Circuit city, Best buy, PC richards, and office depot.

Im looking for one with a
-dual core processor
-about 60 gigz of space
-moderately powerful GPU(i heard the intel ones arent so hot)
-Windows Vista 64 bit edition

will July 22 hold anything for laptops?

Not likely. Retail laptops are on a quarterly cycle (new models and pricing every quarter), which won't change until September. If you buy direct you may find a slight discount, but I don't recall laptop processors being discounted much at all.
I could be wrong, though.

You won't find a low-priced notebook with a 64-bit version of Vista on it.

I usually go here to make and look for laptop deal posts. Usually, anything posted by "Deals" autoposter is not really that great of a deal. Mostly the best deals come from the members.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on office store circulars. Office Depot and Circuit City regularly run laptop specials every other week. Just go to their site and look at their "weekly specials" or "circular" ads. Also, price out a Dell Vostro. You can build a very nice gaming laptop for under $800.
