The Celeron 900 used to power the firstgen netbooks...so it's going to be on the slow. For comparison, at Atom would be significantly faster. It should be fine for web surfing, anything basic like that. Sticking 3gb of ram and gma 4500hd in that notebook seems like overkill to me honestly, I can't help but think that processor is bottlenecking it.

All things considered it doesn't seem bad for $300.
