I have been trying all day to run my windows update. I just got my computer out of the box today. The windows update says that the update process can not be done until the "update to Windows Update" is installed. I have tried to install it and I keep getting the error code 80070643. I went to the "help" area. I said to go to services and restart the office source engine to automatic (delayed start). It did not work.

I have searched microsoft.com and there is said to set the ose to manual. I tried that too! Nothing is working.

I even tried to manually install the windows update from the microsoft website and it gave me the same error code.

Several places I find online keeps saying something about office 2003, but I have 2007.

Any ideas?
