| Some applications arent able to connect to the internet as needed. They are Google Updater, Flickr, and McAfee automatic update application. These programs have full access in the firewall. I was trying to download an application from downloads.com the other day, and the installer couldnt connect to the 3rd party server to complete the download. Usually I wouldnt have a problem with that. Whats the cause of these programs not being able to connect to the internet? Is it the settings in my firewall? If so, which settings should I modify? If not, what else in my laptop could be causing this problem and where do I find it? Thanks. The error message I get when trying to download an application from downloads.com is: Could not communicate to the network server, error 25. What does that mean?
