Default My Laptop GFX card

Hey all, my new laptop, toshiba a215-4697 has the ati x1200 gfx card in it. it says it can go up to 318mb of vRAM but it looks like its running at like 122mb. how do i go and change it? it does say that its configurable and its not in the boot menu or setup options. and its running phoenix bios. dunno what version

These settings are generally in the BIOS but Toshiba, as I recall, tends to restrict user access to these features. It's possible there's an option for this in the latest ATI drivers if you download them from their site.

ATI integrated video also adjusts the amount of memory it uses on the fly. So it will use more while you're playing a game in order to maximize performance, less while you're surfing the internet or burning a CD.
