| I am gonna buy this laptop for gaming (EQ2). I want it to have wireless network. Do I have to buy a wireless network card to add to it? Here is the laptop and the wireless card. | you just need a b/g router if you want to use N speeds then you will need the router and buy a usb stick. For future notice the two main ways to plug adapters and add-ons to laptops is the PCMIA port and usb ![]()

| Super Techie | Yep, you don't need a wireless card, it's already installed. But you will need a wireless router if you don't have one already. But for gaming, you might want to go with a GT instead of GS, since the GS is quite underpowered. | the gs is the second best mobile graphics card you can get I don't see how its underpowered???

| Super Techie | Compared to the GT, the GS is considerably underpowered. The GS is a mid-range card. The GT performs about 1.8x better in benchmarks.

| but compared to the ati 5700 it is going to be 3x better the gs is still a good mobile graphics card

| Super Techie | Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it sucks. The GS is a good mid-range card. It's just if you are looking for a gaming notebook and you have a choice between a GS and a GT, you want to go with the GT.

| agreed although I don't game so I would go for a higher spec cpu or hdd then a gt just to be peverse. good suggestion btw it seems to be the OPs in every aspect
