| The dell inspiron 1520 laptop is really the only barely gaming laptop for anywhere near that price range that i have personally come across. After a 300 dollar coupon you should be able to knock the price down to around 1100 dollars or even lower depending on how much performance you want to sacrifice. I personally tricked it out fully for 1,366 bucks. The only downside is that you have to buy it online, but it shouldn't take much to convince your parents that dell is a reputable brand. | Well I don't really need extreme gaming. I just want to run CS:S and Guild Wars on high which I don't think demands that much performance.
