I just got this text from a girl on my floor.

"Youre good with computers right? Because my screen wont load when i log into my laptop.."

I'm not going to be able to look at it till like 6 tonight, but this sounds like something I can't do anything about.

Anyone have any ideas? Oh if this would be better in hardware troubleshooting, feel free to move it.

Step one is to get more details:
-what does the screen say when it loads?
-where does it stop loading?
-does it restart?
-what words are on the screen when loading?
-does anything ever come on the screen when loading?

From there you can move into two areas, hardware or software issue. At that point you can't do a whole lot for her if it is hardware because i'm sure she doesn't want you taking the entire laptop apart. If it is software you can troubleshoot from there.
