| Bytecc makes such USB cables for 3.5" and 5.25" drives. It includes the 5/12 volt power supply. The problem with slimline drives is that they are powered through the interface connector. A USB port just doesn't have enough power to run a DVD burner. So an external or internal enclosure is the most reliable way to operate a slimline drive |
