laptop video cards are quite expensive, it's best to find a good deal that has a good card already.

I don't even know whether or not that card is good. I know it can run Call of Duty 4, but can it run F.E.A.R. and Crysis?

Hello,

FEAR is a older game. It has less requirements than COD4. So yea it will run FEAR. But Cyrsis on anything but low would be a challenge.

Cheers,
Mak

look from a graphics card from either ATI:
Notebook Graphics
2600/3600 or higher

or from Nvidia:
GeForce M Series - Ultimate Notebook PC Experience
GeForce 8M Series - Notebook, Laptop, DirectX 10, HD, Windows Vista
8600M/9500M or higher

Right off the bat "shared video memory", is not good. You need something with atleast SOME dedicated memory.

It would literally cry on crysis.

Maybe 1-5 fps.

Sounds ok, I'm looking for a laptop right now too... don't know about that video card though... its 128MB??? Most new games require recommended 512MB vid card. I'm not sure what Crysis requires but check the box and go off of that, you want something better than the minimum requirements or it will be super choppy if it even works (shoot towards the recommended requirements). Yeah 2 Gigs of ram is a good start though, if you can add more when and if needed.

What kind of processor minimum should we be looking for, a couple suggestions would be nice.
